To everyone that doesn’t know, Gsk8t hosts skateboarding competitions every month, which mostly happens at Makro in Nelspruit by the riverside area. It is always an open competition for anyone to join in, whether you have just started skating or whether you want to test your skills.

This event was just as cool as all the
others that Gsk8t has hosted. Once again, skaters from everywhere came and joined and this time the Mozambican skate crew also came to support. It’s always fun to skate with skateboarders from different provinces because then you see how the skate scene is growing.
The juniors hit off the first part of
the competition and it was really nice to watch how they are progressing. In the end, the top 3 got some awesome prizes which were given by our sponsors. 3rd place went to Shane Behrendt, 2nd place went to our famous board snapper, Jody Ellis, and 1st place went to Brandon Schule
man, who has been killing it in the junior division but will be skating the senior division from now on. Well done to all the junior skateboarders!

The main event was, of course, the senior competition. It is always exciting to watch the seniors skate because they really push themselves to land the more difficult tricks and are always killing it. 3rd place went to our local skater, Reuben Du Pisanie, 2nd place went to one of the Mozambican skaters, Nino and well done to Jonathan Liebenberg, who was our winner for the day.
As for Gsk8t, we would like to say congratulations to all the winners and everyone who skated; you are all getting better and better every time we see you at these events. Last but not least, thank you to our awesome and ever loyal sponsors for the generous contribution you made to this day
